Funding, Editorial Practices & Corrections

The World Art News, also known as World Art News (WAN), covers art, antiques and collectibles worldwide. This page explains how we are funded, how we approach submitted content, and how readers can contact us or raise concerns.

Our funding

WAN receives funding through direct advertising, Google ads, sponsored articles and paid press releases. Our Advertise page provides details about our paid publishing and advertising services.

Submitted content

We publish submissions from authors and clients and support freedom of expression. Contributors are responsible for the content they submit, including its accuracy, originality, and any necessary permissions. The views expressed in submitted publications belong to their respective contributors and do not necessarily reflect those of WAN. Our resources do not permit independent verification of every claim in every submission. Publication should therefore not be understood as confirmation that WAN has independently verified or endorsed all statements made. Requests to reproduce published content should be directed to WAN. Written permission from the relevant rights holder may be required.

Sponsored content

Paid articles and paid press releases form part of our commercial publishing services. We identify these publications as “Sponsored content” in the disclaimer accompanying each article.
