Vian Borchert is a graduate and “Notable Alumni” of the Corcoran College of Art and Design at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She also serves as Art Lead for the Oxford Public Philosophy Journal, based at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.

Her work has appeared in more than 100 publications, including Museum Week Magazine and The Washington Post. She was recently named by MSN among its “Top 10 Most Creative Artists” and was listed by “Art Market Experts” among the most investable artists of 2025/2026. Beyond her studio practice, Borchert has taught painting and drawing to adults in the Washington, D.C., area for two decades, including at the historic Arts Club of Washington.
