Automata & Music Exhibition featuring Genevaโ€™s Museum of Art and History (MAH) Objet d’Art Collection

In partnership with GemGenรจve, the Museum of Art and History (MAH) is organizing an off-site exhibition featuring exceptional automata, musical, and other objets dโ€™art from its collection. With a policy of promoting art and culture that dates back to the 18th century, MAH is now one of the leading museums in the world. This May, 25 small to medium-sized works of art created at the turn of the 19th century will be exhibited by MAH in an exclusive temporary display that will be open to GemGenรจve visitors. The show will also feature works on loan from the International Museum of Horology at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Swiss sculptor and automaton maker Franรงois Junod, as well as GemGenรจve exhibitors.

By popular demand from its exhibitors, GemGenรจve is holding a second, exceptional edition again this year in Geneva. โ€œWe had initially planned to hold only one edition, in May 2022. Following calls from our exhibitors, weยดve decided to organize a second edition in autumn 2022 in Geneva, but this shouldnโ€™t become standard practice in the futureโ€, emphasizes Ronny Totah.

The 5th meeting of gemology and jewellery professionals and enthusiasts will therefore open its doors from Thursday, 3rd November to Sunday, 6th November in Palexpo, this time in Hall 6. It will coincide once again with the major autumnal auction sales of the Geneva Luxury Week.
