Internationally Acclaimed Artist Ella Spira MBE Launches an Immersive Multimedia Art Exhibition in Singapore

On Thursday, 3 November 2022, the Grammy-nominated British composer, artist and co-founder of production company Sisters Grimm, Ella Spira MBE, will launch her latest art project, โ€˜Global Landscapes Singaporeโ€™ at Art Now gallery, in the Raffles Hotel Arcade, unveiling her work as a visual artist. The exhibition will be opened to the public with no tickets required on the 4th and 5th of November.

Spiraโ€™s Singapore work has already proved popular with collectors. Singapore-based and Chinese investor Jack Tao fell under the spell of Ella Spiraโ€™s Banyan Tree painting and recently acquired it for ยฃ250,000. He went on to commission Spira to create the Global Landscape Singapore.

Janet Rady Fine Art is pleased to present ‘Life Is A Beautiful Colour,’ a group show ofย  emerging contemporary African artists co-curated by Hyacinthe Kouassi and Elorm Gosu.

Including works by Frank Asso, Alex Gbiziรฉ, Muramuzi JohnBosco, Joseph Kojo Hoggar,ย  Qhamanande Maswana, Osman Salifu and Affen Segun the exhibition brings together works thatย  exude and celebrate the vibrancy and warmth of the contemporary lived experience across theย  continent of Africa.

From representations of the fast pace of city life, the communal relationshipsย shared in villages, to quieter more focused and confronting portraits of African youth, though theย works in this show were created by artists from nations as diverse as their form and subjectย matter.

The Foundation of Igor Carl Fabergรฉ, with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, aims to raise awareness of the work and life of Carl Fabergรฉ during his time as a jeweler at the Imperial Court in St. Petersburg, Russia.

It brings together many books, publications, memorabilia, and other historic objects relating to his professional artistic activity.

The same aim also extends to his grandson, Igor Carl Fabergรฉ and his personal works of jewellery art.

The committee has decided to celebrate Foundationโ€™s 40th anniversary as well as the date of passing of Igor Carl Fabergรฉ by bringing together collectors and enthusiasts from all over the world to their headquarters, where a unique exhibition will be held.

In honor of The Hyde Collection’s sixtieth anniversary in 2023 of its opening as a fine arts museum, we are pleased to announce the exhibition Songs of the Horizon: David Smith, Music, and Dance.

Curated by Dr. Jennifer Field, Executive Director of the Estate of David Smith, this project will be the first museum exhibition to focus exclusively on the indelible influence of music and dance on Smith’s work in painting, drawing, and sculpture.

The exhibition will feature approximately twenty-five loans from important private and public collections, the Estate of David Smith, and a selection of rare archival materials.

As always, Vivienne, aided and abetted by Ida Faerber, has scoured the globe for independent, under-the-radar designers, each with a strong concept, a well-defined design direction, individualistic point of view and sophistication of craftsmanship and use of materials.ย  She explains too that as a historian she particularly appreciates designs that acknowledge and respect the long and rich history of the jewel, its rituals and traditions, while at the same time challenging perceptions of the role and meaning of the jewel. The styles represented in the 2022 Designer Vivarium, as always, are all very different from each other, showing the breadth, depth and versatility of expression in todayโ€™s world of contemporary jewellery.

Known for her signature black and white drawings, Martinโ€™s work investigates themes of intersectionality, identity, and play. Through her continual exploration of the spontaneous hand-drawn line, Martin facilitates new connections between fine art, design, education, philosophy, technology, and the reciprocal relationship between artist and viewer, in which a work of art is more than an object of admiration.ย

Digital Gallery at WOW Summit Dubai Witnesses Major NFT Sale on the First Day of the Exhibition.

WOW summit commenced on the 13th of March with three full days of blockchain, metaverse industry news. The โ€˜Alternative Realityโ€™ exhibition was curated by Daria Lomova, an art advisor and historian.

One of the main aims of the WOW summit was to raise public knowledge and awareness of the sweeping world of blockchain, crypto, AI, NFTs and beyond. That is why it was important for Lomova to curate an exhibition that people could relate to, while learning about the different digital art forms.ย

Naoto Hinai, the artisan behind NUTS ARTWORKS, has been fascinated with vintage American culture since childhood and has worked as a self-taught hand-painted sign maker since 1996. With every step of the production process created by hand, Hinaiโ€™ s level of craftsmanship has earned him the trust of Tokyoโ€™ s Harajuku cultural scene, as well as brands and stores in various industries. Throughout his career, he has created shop signs and graphics for leading brands, including SUPREME, NEIGHBORHOOD, Ralph Lauren, and UNIQLO.
