6th Edition of GEMGENÈVE Jewellery Exhibition Will Feature Emerging Talents & New Designers

Hosted by Nadège Totah, the 6th Edition of GemGenève is proud to welcome new talented jewellery designers who will have the opportunity to exhibit their shining creations in a dedicated space. Their jewellery art offer a fascinating glimpse into a very different universe of ideas and inspirations, a world of innovation and ingenuity that highlights each creator’s individuality. With very different styles and techniques, each designer draws inspiration from the mysteries of nature in order, as they explain, to create collections imbued with the powerful symbolism that has always been an essential element of jewels. All of these designs share a common focus: the meaning, message and role of the jewel, far beyond the purely ornamental, giving them a value that exceeds their intrinsic worth. Above all, the gemstone is and has always been a talisman to protect and invoke goodwill; a talisman to keep close to us at all times, reminding us to live in a harmony of body, heart and soul.

Rough Diamond Financing – Sarine and DELGATTO Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Until now assessing rough diamonds was an inaccurate subjective process, at best. This, along  with the difficulty in providing unique identification means, reduced their attractiveness as collateral.  The DDFF and Sarine’s groundbreaking cooperation utilizes Sarine’s various proven industry leading technologies, including the Galaxy® and DiaExpert® platforms along with the Advisor® and  related software processes, to accurately, objectively and rapidly evaluate rough diamonds, as well  as uniquely tagging them, with the result being the ability to reliably ascertain the optimally produced  polished diamonds’ potential value, and hence confidently provide financing. The DDFF will apply  Sarine’s technologies to evaluate if the rough diamond is eligible for the requested financing, and  at what level.

DESIGNER VIVARIUM at GEMGENÈVE 2022 – Showcasing Innovative International Jewelers

GENEVA, 29 MARCH, 2022 – As always, Vivienne, aided and abetted by Ida Faerber, has scoured the globe for independent, under-the-radar designers, each with a strong concept, a well-defined design direction, individualistic point of view and sophistication of craftsmanship and use of materials.  She explains too that as a historian she particularly appreciates designs that acknowledge and respect the long and rich history of the jewel, its rituals and traditions, while at the same time challenging perceptions of the role and meaning of the jewel. The styles represented in the 2022 Designer Vivarium, as always, are all very different from each other, showing the breadth, depth and versatility of expression in today’s world of contemporary jewellery.
