Rough Diamond Financing – Sarine and DELGATTO Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Until now assessing rough diamonds was an inaccurate subjective process, at best. This, alongย  with the difficulty in providing unique identification means, reduced their attractiveness as collateral.ย  The DDFF and Sarine’s groundbreaking cooperation utilizes Sarineโ€™s various proven industry leading technologies, including the Galaxyยฎ and DiaExpertยฎ platforms along with the Advisorยฎ andย  related software processes, to accurately, objectively and rapidly evaluate rough diamonds, as wellย  as uniquely tagging them, with the result being the ability to reliably ascertain the optimally producedย  polished diamonds’ potential value, and hence confidently provide financing. The DDFF will applyย  Sarineโ€™s technologies to evaluate if the rough diamond is eligible for the requested financing, andย  at what level.ย

Hod Hasharon (Israel), 11 January 2023 โ€“ Singapore Exchange Mainboard listed Sarine Technologies Ltd (โ€œSarineโ€ and along with its subsidiaries โ€œthe Groupโ€) (U77:SI; SARN.TA), a worldwide leader in the development, manufacturing, marketing and sale of precision technology ย products for the evaluation, planning, processing, measurement, grading and trading of diamonds ย and gems, is pleased to announce the signing of a non-binding MOU to purchase, subject to the ย usual due diligence reviews and to reaching and executing a definitive agreement, a majority share ย of GCAL against an all cash consideration.

The Gem Certification & Assurance Lab, Inc. GCAL is a highly respected gemological laboratory ย founded in 2001 by Mr. Don Palmieri, a veteran of over 50 years in the diamond industry, and his ย wife, Pamela. Today, it operates as a family-owned business in New York City, on the city’s famous ย Diamond Way, at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 47th Street, with son Angelo in the role of Chief ย Operations Officer (COO). GCAL provides services for the grading and certification of natural and ย lab-grown diamonds, coloured diamonds, coloured gemstones, pearls and precious metals.

The Foundation of Igor Carl Fabergรฉ, with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, aims to raise awareness of the work and life of Carl Fabergรฉ during his time as a jeweler at the Imperial Court in St. Petersburg, Russia.

It brings together many books, publications, memorabilia, and other historic objects relating to his professional artistic activity.

The same aim also extends to his grandson, Igor Carl Fabergรฉ and his personal works of jewellery art.

The committee has decided to celebrate Foundationโ€™s 40th anniversary as well as the date of passing of Igor Carl Fabergรฉ by bringing together collectors and enthusiasts from all over the world to their headquarters, where a unique exhibition will be held.

By popular demand from its exhibitors, GemGenรจve is holding a second, exceptional edition again this year in Geneva. โ€œWe had initially planned to hold only one edition, in May 2022. Following calls from our exhibitors, weยดve decided to organize a second edition in autumn 2022 in Geneva, but this shouldnโ€™t become standard practice in the futureโ€, emphasizes Ronny Totah.

The 5th meeting of gemology and jewellery professionals and enthusiasts will therefore open its doors from Thursday, 3rd November to Sunday, 6th November in Palexpo, this time in Hall 6. It will coincide once again with the major autumnal auction sales of the Geneva Luxury Week.

The styles represented in the 2022 Designer Vivarium, as always, are all very different from each other, showing the breadth, depth and versatility of expression in todayโ€™s world of contemporary jewellery.

FLAIR Project Collaborates with GemGenรจve for Inspiring Artistic Showcase

Jewellery insider Katerina Perez has collaborated with leading independent trade show GemGenรจve to debut the works of FLAIR community artists at its upcoming event in November 2021.

Attendees and exhibitors are invited to attend a talk titled – โ€˜The importance of creativity in art, jewellery design and brandsโ€™ communicationโ€™ – on Saturday, November 6, at 11:30 am.

All artworks are created as one-of-a-kind pieces designed exclusively for the FLAIR Project and will not be repeated. Prices varying from โ‚ฌ1,000 to โ‚ฌ36,000.
